Becoming a YouTube content creator is an exciting and rewarding journey. From brainstorming ideas to filming and editing videos, there is a sense of fulfillment in sharing your passions and talents with the world. One major milestone that many aspiring creators strive for is reaching 1000 subscribers.
Reaching 1000 subscribers on YouTube is a significant achievement. It signifies that your content is resonating with an audience and that you are building a community of dedicated followers. It also unlocks several benefits such as the ability to monetize your channel through ad revenue, Super Chat, and channel memberships. Additionally, you gain access to YouTube's Creator Support team and can unlock more advanced features for your channel.
These markets have already passed but watching the video may give you some ideas of what you could get for your loved ones, or even yourself. Let's talk about the joys of a smaller town local Market, it of course is way different than going to a large shopping mall. People are much more friendly I find and the majority of them are willing to tell you all about what they have on display. To add to that, the products that you can buy there, at least the ones you can eat, tend to be very tasty.
I would say, even if you are not interested in purchasing anything major you should get out and take a look around, you never know what you find or what friendships you may form. KassDays hopes to see you out there somewhere in the future. BTW I think the Saskatoon Farm is having their Holiday Market this coming December 1st to 3rd, hope to see you there.

If you're a fan of unique cars and home made street rods, you might want to keep an eye out for a funky and cool looking hot rod that we spotted in Okotoks, Alberta. This Hot Rod is a showstopper, with its eye-catching unique design. Gotta say it is very unusual.
Hot rods have been a part of American car culture since the 1940s, and their popularity continues to this day. These custom-built cars are known for their high-performance engines, modified bodywork, and unique style. Hot rod enthusiasts spend hours tinkering with their cars, customizing every detail to make them stand out from the crowd. But this distinctively different auto forms its' own category, I'm sure the fellow has reason for what he has done with this car.
This car that was spotted in Okotoks is a prime example of what I think is someone just going out and having fun. We don't know about the engine or what his future plans are but hey, it's our first time seeing the one we have posted about here.
What makes this hot rod truly unique is the use of the license plates, now that's a good touch. What do you call those long chrome pipes, exhaust pipes, do you think they came from an 18 wheeler? There is presently no hood on the engine, there's an extra pipe coming out the back, you may not be able to make that out all that well in the picture here. We had to get our cameras out fast so this is the best image we got. When driving down the street, it's impossible not to take notice of this funky and cool-looking hot rod.
Whether you're a car enthusiast or just appreciate something different, the hot rod spotted in Okotoks is a must-see. So keep your eyes peeled, and you just might spot this definitely 'one-of-a-kind' hot rod cruising down the streets of Alberta.
As far as we go, this is all in fun and certainly not meant as an insult to any Hot Rod enthusiasts, just good clean fun! You can think of it this way, think of it as a story, perhaps that is all he can afford and he wanted it to be unique, a real eye catcher, I think he succeeded very well. Btw, follow the link by clicking on the picture to see our post on TikTok. Thanks for watching!

This year, we want to wish everyone a happy Halloween filled with all the spooky and eerie thrills that you could ever imagine. Whether you're planning to attend a haunted house or a Halloween party with your friends and family, we hope that you have a frighteningly fun time.
But what exactly is the history behind Halloween, and how did it become such a popular holiday? Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which was celebrated on October 31st. To ward off any evil spirits, people would light bonfires and wear costumes to scare away the ghosts.
As time passed, Halloween evolved into a more secular holiday. Today, it's a time for fun and festivities, with people of all ages enjoying the spooktacular holiday. Whether you're carving pumpkins or watching scary movies, Halloween is a holiday that can be enjoyed by everyone.
So, let's all raise our glasses and toast to a happy Halloween. May your night be filled with candy, costumes, and the spirit of the season. Happy Halloween!
KassDays took this picture approximately three weeks ago and you wonder 'How did time slip by so fast?' Aren't these flowers just gorgeous? There flowers were situated outside the Okotoks Museum, they have done a great job taking care of them I would have to say.
When I was younger I was not such a huge fan of flowers but I sure do seem to have an obsession with them now, all kinds of pretty flowers, I want to view them, I want to have them, I want to take pictures of them. I'm sure there are others just like me but sometimes I do tend to surprise myself with the way that I tend to change from year to year.
Looking upon that arrangement, aren't they simply the perfect mixture of colours? Orange hues with a bit of yellow and some greenery in the background, just like a work of art, any artists out there care to paint us a picture of this beautiful arrangement? Or even paint it for yourself, you just never know how far it can take you.
When I look at this I want to know, how did they smell, did they smell as beautiful as they look?

This is our walk around Okotoks Alberta on October 15th, 2023, are the colours of fall oh so wonderful? This is a pathway that we found just yesterday, so it is new to us, surely it has been there for quite some time but we only just found it, so happy we did.
It was such a beautiful day yesterday, we believe it got up to 19 degrees Celsius, didn't even need a jacket, it's wonderful to have those nice days in the fall in the part of the world we are living in. Having said that, we are in Southern Alberta Canada, a couple hours north of the American border, but we do get some nasty cold temps in the winter.
The view in this video is quite awesome for me, just love the natural beauty that is free for all of us to enjoy, you just have to go out and find it for yourself. Even a tree that has lost all its leaves can be breathtaking, at least to us.
Get your cameras out and go capture what you consider beautiful.
The American Kennel Club Dog Show is one of the most highly anticipated events for dog enthusiasts around the world. The 2023 AKC Dog Show, which was held in Spruce Meadows, Calgary, was an exceptional showcase of the best breeds in the canine world. This annual event attracts thousands of people, including dog breeders, trainers, handlers, and spectators, who all come together to witness the extraordinary dogs on display.
The 2023 AKC Dog Show was a fantastic event that showcased breeders’ hard work and dedication to their dogs. The event was a remarkable opportunity for breeders from all over the world to showcase their dogs and compete for the top prize. The competition was fierce, and the judges had a tough job choosing the winners in various categories.
Imagine yourself back in a time when these Dinosaurs actually existed, just picture yourself swimming in the lake and all of a sudden you have a creature such as this looking down upon you. What would you do, would you just scream or would you quickly try to figure out how you could get out of harms way, just in case the creature were not friendly?
I think myself I would attempt to slowly back away, no sudden moves, no screaming to agitate the creature, after all it may not take kindly to someone screaming like a loon in their presence and may give you a good shaking just because you annoyed it.
You can watch the creature as it watches you back away, look for any movements if it is also moving towards you, or is it regarding you as an annoying ant that it hopes will go away, you have to play it out and hope for the best. If you can scurry away without annoying the greater beast you will be far better off than ending up a screaming loon that gets tossed across the pond for being a nuisance.
We went to the Calgary Home show and this is what we found, what do you think? I kinda like that, if you have a cool space where you have trendy things, this would fit in perfectly in my opinion.
This is a toilet that was done up for the Calgary Home Show by the company called Pete the Plumber, they always seem to do some pretty cool stuff, they like to make plumbing fun, at least it does get a persons attention.
We have actually had Pete the Plumber out to our house to do some work as well, it was always fantastic, they treated us well and we will be returning customers, candy or no candy.
Someone is really thinking in that company when it comes to marketing and getting the regular persons attention, at least they always seem to get my attention. I love walking around at the local shows and seeing unique exhibits that move away from the norm and do their best to appeal to the general public, what do you think?
This was the 2023 Okotoks Show and Shine that took place in Okotoks Alberta, did you make it out to the show? There was a large turnout for the Car Show, even-though the show was in a different location, I hope it is put back downtown next year personally, but we'll see how that goes I guess.
Do you attend car shows? If so, do you like the classic cars or the more modern cars, what is your preference? I like all kinds of cars, both new and old, there are just certain cars that appeal to different viewers. I think, as far as I can see, that I seem to like the more sleek and flashy kind of car, that is what I am guessing at this point, what do you think?
If you've not been to 40 Mile Park, you are definitely missing out, absolutely loved it there. We only stayed one night but this campsite had all the amenities, water hookup, electric hookup, flushing toilets and showers nearby and even a small store. I guess I'm not that picky as these few small things made me happier than all heck.
There were people out boating, the campsite was not over crowded, it was actually peaceful. There were certainly places to walk about if you so desired and there certainly was a beautiful view of the reservoir and the windmills across the way. We are going to have full lengths videos coming out on 40 Mile Park in the near future, so please subscribe to our YouTube Channel @KassDays so you don't miss them and check out all the other varied videos we have at the same time.
I think some of the dogs were a bit confused on this day, perhaps it had something to do with the heat, as it was a very hot day. We hung out waiting on the Dog Agility show to start, we got ourselves a cool drink and a snack and we waited. There was a pretty good turn out, drew a big crowd, it was our first time at a Dog Show in Spruce Meadows and yes, we will go again the next time we know about one happening.
Watch the video, like, subscribe and share, the video is on YouTube and hey we do have a TikTok channel as well now, it is also called @KassDays, please check us out. We're your Southern Alberta Vloggers filming daily life and any great events and adventures we happen to be attending. If you have questions about our videos, leave us a comment on the video and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
What do you think of this old hotel room that has been recreated to show what things looked like in the distant past? I'm not sure it looks all that comfortable to me, perhaps it's the lady in the corner that makes me a bit uneasy.
Are you old enough to remember that dreadful wallpaper? I have purchased homes that had that stuff, I worked at removing it all. This is not to say that I detest wallpaper, but I do want perhaps a more modern looking wallpaper than what was presently on the wall.
Let's think of this as well, what about that bulky suitcase, imagine lugging that knee cracker around, have to say things are designed a bit more user friendly these days. Then again, who knows what the future holds, perhaps there will be micro bags where we can shrink down our things into minuscule packages? Perhaps a bit wrinkly when all is said and done?
Aren't the horses beautiful to watch? I could sit for hours and just watch, take photos and videos of course too, but sometimes just to get lost in watching them move. I have always loved horses and being around them, I feel at one with them. Yes I did have a horse or two when I was younger and still to this day I hope I can perhaps have a couple to just hang out with, they make awesome buddies.
Please watch the video and if you like, please subscribe to our YouTube Channel @KassDays, Thank you any and all for watching what we have produced thus far.
We have been to Drumheller in the past, but it was before we had a YouTube channel, so we are going back to do it again. We will also go for a glorious hike in the Horseshoe Canyon, same as we did last time and we plan on sharing these adventures with you.
It was a very hot day the last time we went out to Drumheller, perhaps it will be a bit cooler this time. We plan on going once school is back in, so we can try to avoid some of the crowds and perhaps beat the heat as well.
Walking down into the Horseshoe Canyon was very interesting for me, had an historic feel to me, it was my feeling that there were many things that took place in that canyon years ago. Shall we say that the spirits of the canyon were attempting to tell me a story?
Hey, if you are not yet subscribed to our YouTube channel please do so, we would really like to have some great people we can form a community with. In case you didn't know, we are @KassDays (with and 's') on YouTube.
Let's check out the Dinosaurs and the Horseshoe Canyon together.
This is what we found on the weekend, it was an interesting event, do you think you can keep yourself balances well enough on those small motorbikes or scooters to beat out the rest of the competitors? The people that put it on were fantastic, make you feel welcome and even offer you a snack and a drink. From what I understand this even has been going on for a few years now, if you would like more info you can find them on MiniMotoMob. We will be putting out a full length video in the near future, so please make sure you follow our YouTube Channel @KassDays.
