There were people out boating, the campsite was not over crowded, it was actually peaceful. There were certainly places to walk about if you so desired and there certainly was a beautiful view of the reservoir and the windmills across the way. 40 Mile Park, Reservoir and Campsite in Southern Alberta
If you've not been to 40 Mile Park, you are definitely missing out, absolutely loved it there. We only stayed one night but this campsite had all the amenities, water hookup, electric hookup, flushing toilets and showers nearby and even a small store. I guess I'm not that picky as these few small things made me happier than all heck.
