The Rocky Mountains are one of the most iconic natural landmarks in Canada, attracting millions of visitors every year. Banff, a town located within the mountains, offers breathtaking views of the range, with towering peaks visible from nearly every angle. From the town, visitors can take gondolas up to mountain tops for panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness.
However, the views of the Rockies from the foothills in southern Alberta offer a unique perspective. While less dramatic, the rolling hills and grasslands provide a beautiful foreground to the mountains in the distance. The contrast between the flat terrain and jagged peaks creates a stunning visual effect, particularly during sunrise and sunset.
Whether viewed from Banff or the foothills, the Rocky Mountains offer a glimpse into some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the world. From towering peaks and thundering waterfalls to serene alpine lakes and vast glaciers, the Rockies are a must-see destination for outdoors enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. So why not head off on an adventure and discover all the Rocky Mountains have to offer?

Experiencing the Beauty of an Evening Stroll
There's just something magical and calming about an evening stroll. As the sun starts to set and the sky turns into a beautiful blend of hues, the world seems to slow down and everything around you looks different. The way the light plays with the shadows, nature's colours blending into each other, even the sound of rustling leaves start to feel serene.
One way to capture the beauty that surrounds you during an evening stroll is by having your camera with you. Photography allows you to freeze a moment in time and to revisit it whenever you want to, but it also forces you to observe the world more closely. Whether you are an amateur or a professional photographer, taking your camera with you on an evening walk can inspire you to see things in a different way.
Walking at night gives you a unique opportunity to observe things that you never noticed during the day, such as the way the streetlights change the colours and the atmosphere of the buildings and plants. You can experiment with different settings on your camera, such as aperture and shutter speed, to capture different types of images. You can use a tripod to take long exposures, allowing you to capture the movement of the stars or of the cars whizzing by.

Okotoks in the Fall View
Here I took something simple and I am very pleased with the way this photograph turned out. This is Okotoks Alberta when you are on the upper, south side of the Sheep River on the walking path looking down across the river. If you catch the views at the right time it can turn out pretty good.
I have found that we, KassDays do enjoy videography and we also enjoy just taking simple photographs of things, animals, people and so on that we think are unique or beautiful in one way or another.
Here we have an example mostly of grass that is still standing in the fall that makes the picture all that much better. You look up the picture and you see the sun is changing the colours of that section of the sky, when you blend them all together it can be very beautiful.
Halloween We Call Home
First off, get dressed up in your favourite Halloween costumes, whether it's spooky, silly, or a mix of the two. Dress up as a classic witch or vampire, create your own costume with DIY materials, or opt for a fun family costume theme. Don't forget to share your amazing looks with your friends and family on social media!
Next, get your family involved in some Halloween-inspired activities. You can have a pumpkin-carving competition, decorate your house with spooky decorations, or play "mummy-wrap" using toilet paper. For a more competitive activity, try having a Halloween scavenger hunt, and search for hidden treats around your house.
Moreover, Halloween won't be complete without some spooky treats. Whip up some delicious Halloween recipes such as caramel apples, spider cupcakes, or Halloween-themed cookies. These recipes are not only fun to make but also delicious for the whole family to enjoy.
Finally, bring out the thriller movies. Grab some blankets, turn off the lights, and cuddle up on the couch for some scary movie time. Don't forget to include a classic Halloween movie like Hocus Pocus or The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Overall, Halloween at home with family can be just as fun as going out trick-or-treating, if not better! With these ideas, you can create lasting memories with your loved ones and celebrate the Halloween season.

Halloween is Around the Corner - Happy Halloween!
Halloween is one of the most exciting and spooky times of the year, where people from all over the world come together to celebrate the ghoulish holiday. It's a time for dressing up in your most creative and scary costumes, trick-or-treating, and telling terrifying stories around a bonfire.
This year, we want to wish everyone a happy Halloween filled with all the spooky and eerie thrills that you could ever imagine. Whether you're planning to attend a haunted house or a Halloween party with your friends and family, we hope that you have a frighteningly fun time.
But what exactly is the history behind Halloween, and how did it become such a popular holiday? Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which was celebrated on October 31st. The festival was a time of superstition, where people believed that the dead could return to the world of the living. To ward off any evil spirits, people would light bonfires and wear costumes to scare away the ghosts.
As time passed, Halloween evolved into a more secular holiday. Today, it's a time for fun and festivities, with people of all ages enjoying the spooktacular holiday. Whether you're carving pumpkins or watching scary movies, Halloween is a holiday that can be enjoyed by everyone.
So, let's all raise our glasses and toast to a happy Halloween. May your night be filled with candy, costumes, and the spirit of the season. Happy Halloween!

Walk Along the Shores in Kananaskis Country
When it comes to writing about this experience, it's important to remember that the words you choose can be just as impactful as the scenery itself. To truly capture the essence of walking along the shoreline, you'll need to tap into all of your senses and let the natural beauty guide your thoughts and words.
One effective technique is to describe the sights, sounds, and sensations you're experiencing in the moment. Maybe you notice the way the sunlight dances across the water's surface, or the sound of birds singing in the trees overhead. Perhaps you feel the damp chill of the water on your skin, or the soft sand between your toes.
Beyond just describing the physical sensations, it's also helpful to explore the emotional impact of walking along the shoreline. Does it bring you a sense of peace and tranquility? Does it remind you of fond memories from childhood? Or maybe it inspires a sense of wonder or curiosity about the natural world around you.
No matter what approach you take, the key is to let yourself be fully present in the moment and let the beauty of the shoreline guide your words. By doing so, you'll create a vivid and immersive experience that transports your readers to the calming waters of the lake.

We are now into Fall and Snow is on the way!
When I was younger I was not such a huge fan of flowers but I sure do seem to have an obsession with them now, all kinds of pretty flowers, I want to view them, I want to have them, I want to take pictures of them. I'm sure there are others just like me but sometimes I do tend to surprise myself with the way that I tend to change from year to year.
Looking upon that arrangement, aren't they simply the perfect mixture of colours? Orange hues with a bit of yellow and some greenery in the background, just like a work of art, any artists out there care to paint us a picture of this beautiful arrangement? Or even paint it for yourself, you just never know how far it can take you.
When I look at this I want to know, how did they smell, did they smell as beautiful as they look?

Walk in Beauty from KassDays TikTok
It was such a beautiful day yesterday, we believe it got up to 19 degrees Celsius, didn't even need a jacket, it's wonderful to have those nice days in the fall in the part of the world we are living in. Having said that, we are in Southern Alberta Canada, a couple hours north of the American border, but we do get some nasty cold temps in the winter.
The view in this video is quite awesome for me, just love the natural beauty that is free for all of us to enjoy, you just have to go out and find it for yourself. Even a tree that has lost all its leaves can be breathtaking, at least to us.
Get your cameras out and go capture what you consider beautiful.

KassDays Goes Alien - Just for Fun!
Vulcan Alberta Demolition Derby
I hadn't been to a Demolition Derby in years and Kass had never been to one before, it was a whole new experience for him, and he did enjoy it. If you have sensitive ears, we would recommend bring some headphones or something similar. It gets nice and loud, the cars for the most part are quite the rattle traps, but that's what they are supposed to be, it's all for great fun. It certainly was a clear sky hot day, but they had snacks and cold drinks for you to purchase. If you missed it this year, you really need to get out to see it next time.

Yukon Gold Potato Harvest for Our Small Family
For small-time gardeners, growing Yukon Gold potatoes can be a fulfilling and rewarding experience. These potatoes are known for their golden-yellow flesh, buttery taste, and firm texture that make them perfect for baking, frying, and boiling.
Harvesting potatoes is a process that requires patience, planning, and careful attention to detail. The best time to harvest Yukon Gold potatoes is when the plants have started to die back and the leaves have turned yellow. This usually happens around 100-120 days after planting.
To start the harvest, use a garden fork or shovel to gently loosen the soil around the potato plants. Be careful not to damage the tubers as you work your way around the garden bed. Once the soil is loose enough, pull the plants out of the ground.
Now it's time to dig for gold! Use your hands or a digging fork to gently unearth the potatoes. Be sure to remove any loose soil and rocks as you go. As you collect the potatoes, place them into a basket or crate to avoid damaging them.
After the harvest is complete, it's important to let the potatoes dry out for a few days. This allows the skins to thicken and prevents them from bruising during storage. Once they are dry, brush off any excess dirt and store them in a cool, dark, and dry place.
For small-time gardeners, harvesting a crop of Yukon Gold potatoes can be a satisfying and delicious experience. With the right mix of patience, planning, and effort, you can enjoy the bountiful rewards of your potato garden.

I looked it up, The moon can be either up or down in reference to the earth, all depends on what point of the earth you are looking from. To find more info an that, please check here.

Alberta Photography in Kananaskis Country
This body of water is Mountain water which means it is very cold, if you fall in, it will affect you immediately. So be careful around these mountain fed bodies of water. Beautiful to admire but give them the respect that they deserve.
Can you imagine having a home where you had such a view? I could sit there all day and look out at it, or does it wear off after awhile? Not sure, when we travel a bit and stay in hotels that do have a good view, we do spend quite a bit of time admiring the view.
I recommend to myself to get out in nature, find the peace and quiet so that I can bring myself back to the person that I wish to be. Get rid of the stress and take some deep breaths, enjoy the view.
