If you live in Alberta you may have been to this location in the past, it's not that far from Calgary or any of the small towns that are nearby Calgary for that matter. There were a lot of people out and about, oh yeah and don't forget you need a provincial park pass if you want to stop in any of these parks or they can ticket you if they happen by.
We packed ourselves a small lunch, put on our hiking shoes and we were off for our adventure, up and down the trails, much to see and do. There were spots on the trail that were much busier than others. We did notice that most people do stay close to the busier areas, whereas we ventured much further out, even-though it was a fairly warm/hot day. Thunder rumbled a couple times but nothing more materialized.
