Work from your home - Must Do Scheduling

Work from your home - Do it Right!

So you want to work from your home to earn your monthly income, do you realize the big change it’s going to be for you? On the plus side, when you work from your home you no longer have to do the daily commute to and from your job site; you will also be saving on the cost of gas for getting back and forth. Another plus is that you don’t have to put up with irritating co-workers or bosses; these are just a few of the many bonuses when you decide to work from your home.

But, there could be something very important that you are overlooking in your giddy joy to be free. Sure, you are most likely very happy to be done with that commute and those other people you may have had to work alongside of but keep it real and do your homework. This is not your regular 9 to 5 job and there is no one there to tell you when its break time and what exactly you have to do and when. Are you going to be able to do this for yourself easily? Do you have the strong character to stick to it so that things get done for your home business?

I’m going to tell you now, you need to set yourself a fairly firm schedule if you want to work from your home and be successful. Let’s say you have 3 websites, perhaps you want to do one post per day, per site; can you be firm with yourself and make sure that this gets done? Let’s assume your posts are going to be at least 300 words each and if you want them to be good posts you are going to have to do some research on the topics you choose. It may mean that your days could get longer instead of shorter, but we have to remember, we are doing it for ourselves and the end goal is worth it.

As for me, I have succeeded in getting two posts done today and it took me around 4 hours, including research and getting graphics ready as well. What you are reading now would be a third post. For this one I have researched the keywords, so this took me a bit of time besides the writing. I will have to get a graphic put in, either one of my own or use a free digital photo and give the person who created it the appropriate credit.

You have to factor in all relevant tasks you must do when you work from your home just to get an idea of the time that will be required. Here again what we have to remember is the fact that it is highly unlikely that we are going to get rich quick. You’re going to work hard but you are going to concentrate on working towards doing something that you enjoy and a business idea that you can continually build upon.

Ideally you will have set aside enough funds to keep a roof over your head and food in your belly until the time comes where your online business starts to bring in a reasonable income. This is the aim when you want to work from your home – having the necessary resources set aside so that you can give it 100% true effort. Set up a workable schedule, stick to it and most of all have the patience to keep on going until you begin seeing a return on your efforts. Then the fun begins!
