Crossing the Northernmost Border into Alaska from Canada

Day 7: Crossing the Northernmost Border into Alaska - KassDays Adventure

After a gruelling yet awe-inspiring six-day drive from Calgary, Day 7 marked the moment I rolled up to the northernmost USA/Canada border crossing, finally stepping into Alaska. The journey was a marathon of stunning scenery—towering Rockies, endless Yukon trails, and the wild promise of the Last Frontier. But today, seeing that border sign felt like crossing a finish line, a testament to taking it slow and soaking in every mile.

The landscape shifted as I approached the crossing, with rugged peaks giving way to vast, open tundra under a sky that stretched forever. The border itself was a quiet milestone—flags flapping in the breeze, a lone customs booth, and the thrill of leaving Canada behind to enter Alaska’s untamed heart. I pulled over to take it all in, the crisp air carrying hints of pine and the distant howl of a wolf. Kass’s video captures that raw excitement, the “Welcome to Alaska” vibe hitting hard after days on the road.

Now, with the border behind me, I’m buzzing with the freedom of making it this far. The journey wasn’t about speed—it was about the views, the moments, the sheer wildness of it all. Check out Kass’s footage for the full rush of that border crossing triumph!
