Flowers in Pinks, Oranges and Whites

What do you see here? When I look at these flowers I think of many things. First of all, what are they called? How easy are they to grow, how long do they take to germinate and come to full growth?

If you have a small collection of beautiful flowers in pinks, oranges, and whites, then you're in for a treat. One of the best ways to display these stunning blooms is in a hanging basket. Not only does this arrangement add a pop of colour to any space, but it also allows you to enjoy the beauty of these flowers at eye level.

Some popular flowers that come in these stunning hues and are suitable for hanging baskets include petunias, geraniums, calibrachoas, and fuchsias. These flowers not only bring vibrant colours, but they also add a sweet fragrance to the air.

When planting your hanging basket, it's important to consider the size and shape of the container. Ensure that it has good drainage and enough space for the roots to grow. Additionally, choosing the right potting mix and fertilizer will help these flowers thrive and bloom all season long.

To care for your hanging basket, make sure to water it regularly, especially during hot and dry weather. Deadheading the flowers (removing spent blooms) will encourage more blossoms to grow. Additionally, placing the basket in a location with plenty of sunlight will help the flowers reach their full potential.

So, whether you're looking to add a touch of colour to your balcony, patio, or garden, consider creating a small collection of beautiful flowers in a hanging basket. Not only will it brighten up your space, but it will also bring joy and cheer to all who see it.

An an FYI this picture of beautiful flowers was taken at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC.
